Bauder XPS WFRL Membrane (Water Flow Reducing Layer). - Non-Woven Polyethylene Membrane

Bauder XPS WFRL Membrane is a non-woven polyethylene membrane for use as a separator sheet over Bauder XPS (300) insulation. It is UV resistant and can be safely exposed for a period not exceeding 4 months, however, it is recommended that ballasting follows installation asap. It resists attack by mould and fungus growth and will not encourage insect attack.

Bauder XPS WFRL Membrane reduces the cooling effect of rainwater, therefore improving the thermal performance of the insulation, whilst also helping to reduce the flotation effect therefore reducing the weight of ballast required.

Bauder XPS WFRL Membrane is breathable, therefore will not create a condensation trap within the construction and also acts as a filter layer to prevent fines from getting between the insulation and waterproofing.

It is supplied as part of the Bauder XPS (300) Inverted Insulation System to minimize water flow through and below the insulation.

Only to be used as part of a full Bauder Waterproofing System, in conjunction with Bauder XPS (300) Inverted Insulation. Not for use with Bauder LiquiTOP PU System.
