Application

For use within Bauder roof systems in areas with limited height. Particularly suited for terrace and balcony applications.

Description

BauderVIP TE is a vacuum insulation panel that is specially designed to provide high thermal performance in areas with limited height.

The insulating properties achieved by the BauderVIP TE vacuum core come from the high-performance pyrogenic silica. This silica is surrounded by a multi-layer high-barrier film, and then the air is removed from the silica so that a vacuum is created. Each 60 mm panel achieves a U-value of 0.157 W/(m²K), and the 80 mm panel a U-value of 0.107 W/(m²K). A Bauder specific project design and calculation must be completed to confirm the overall U-value achieved for the entire roof.

Only to be used as part of a full Bauder Waterproofing System.
