Acoustic pad to improve the acoustics of a suspended ceiling grid.
For installation on top of a suspended ceiling grid, to reduce the noise transfer between rooms.
CMS Danskin Acoustics AcoustiTile is a rock fibre, foil-encapsulated ceiling slab to improve the acoustic performance of a suspended ceiling grid system, reducing noise outbreak of sound through the suspended ceiling.
The transfer of noise between offices and classrooms is often via the separating wall constructed beneath the ceiling grid. In many cases, the wall does not continue to the soffit of the ceiling, due to services in the voids, meaning the wall cannot be extended, creating a common void. This allows sound to transfer through the ceiling tiles over the separating wall between adjoining rooms, also known as 'cross-talk'.
AcoustiTile has been designed to be installed on top of the ceiling grid, to reduce the noise transfer between rooms, whether that is to create a quieter environment, or a more confidential meeting room.
