Nullifire FV050 small ventilated cavity barrier consists of an encapsulated rigid intumescent band used to prevent the spread of fire for up to 120 minutes in small cavities with a 50 mm air gap.
A fire-rated product designed to act as an external wall cavity barrier at the junction of compartment floors, within uninsulated cavities. Third party tested and proven to reinstate the fire resistance performance within “open state” external wall cavities for periods up to 120 minutes, for both integrity and insulation to the principles of ASFP TGD 19 guidance.
Ventilated design – developed to allow maximum ventilation of cavities reducing the need for cavity trays or weep holes. Suitable for “open-state” ventilated cavities up to 50 mm wide.
Provided in strips 1 m long, 75 mm wide and 6 mm thick lightweight - designed to be easily and quickly installed. No maintenance is required after installation.
