The PVC-U version is a stylish yet robust handrail being warm to the touch, is easy to clean being ideal for hospital and medical buildings and is available in a choice of modern colours. The stainless steel version offers a durable contemporary rail matching well with clean and sharp designs. Corrosion resistant and reducing bacterial growth the stainless steel rail is a good option for healthcare environments. The timber version gives a natural look being able to match in with wooden architraves and doors. Sturdy and smooth to the touch, the sustainably FSC sourced product is not only practical but classical looking.

DDA compliance:

Though all the above colour ways are available, Yeoman Shield would recommend the use of contrasting accessories to highlight corners, stop/ start points, doorways and changes in direction as recommended under DDA guidelines, the Building Regulations, British Standards and Construction Guidelines for Handrails. If matching accessories are preferred then these are only available in the above colours in Cream, Black, White, Opal Green, Buff, Steel Blue and Light Green PVC-U sleeve.
