BBA Agrément Certificate
Certificate type
A single component, elastic formula low post expansion gun grade polyurethane foam for airtight and insulated joint sealing.
Filling the joints between window and door frames and the structural opening, top of wall joints, beam to roof joints, wall to roof joints and service penetrations. Internal use shielded from UV exposure, external applications require a top coat. Permissible in Relevant Buildings where small amounts of insulation worse than Class A1/A2 Reaction to Fire are required to prevent cold bridging.
Note:
Foam has low post-application expansion. Regulate the flow of the dispensing gun. Do not overfill joints to avoid cutting back. Fill to approximately 70% capacity and allow to expand. A mild mist of water spray applied to the joint can expedite expansion. Clean overspill and tooling with Acetone.
A high movement accommodation factor (MAF) of 50% ensures that the integrity of the seal is maintained during any movement and settlement. FM330 Profoam Air Seal provides thermal and acoustic insulation within linear construction joints typically around window and door perimeters. The foam is permanently soft and flexible after curing. FM330 Profoam Air Seal can assist with driving rain resistance of up to 600 Pa* as part of the illbruck BBA Accredited i3 System when used in conjunction with illbruck impregnated expanding foam tapes and various illbruck internal or external perimeter sealing membranes.
