ITP Powerlon® UV 120 - UV Resistant Breather Membrane For Partially Open Cladding & Façades - UV Resistant Breathable Facade Membrane

ITP Powerlon® UV 120 façade membrane for installations behind open or closed ventilated rainscreens and façades on vertical walls.

Storage and handling:

• Store membrane rolls horizontally in a cool, dry sheltered store.
• Handle the material with care and ensure that the membrane is not creased or folded.

Installation:

• Ensure that the membrane is not creased or folded. Loosely install the membrane around the corner or make a well-sealed butt joint. Do not crease the material.
• Unroll the membrane in such a way that the inside of the roll faces out once installed.
• Pull the membrane tight and always fasten loose ends, overlaps and edges mechanically with staples or ITP Powerlon® UV Facade Sealant 290mls Cartridge or ITP Powerlon® UV Facade Tape.
• Do not glue to non-rigid surfaces such as the insulation.
• Staples can be used as long as they are sealed with either ITP Powerlon® UV façade Tape or ITP Powerbond® D/S Tape Butyl.

Gaps:

• Maximum 30 mm gaps.
• Maximum overall exposure 30%.

Overlaps:

• Vertical overlaps should be 100 mm minimum.
• Horizontal overlaps should be 100 mm minimum.
