ITP Powerlon® UV Roof is a high performance, UV resistant breathable roofing underlay suitable for use behind partially open clad roofs or low pitched roofs.
Application
The suggested build up for exposed roof designs from inside to out would be insulation topped with plywood / OSB as a base.
Secondary layer:
A secondary layer of ITP Powerlon® Eco would need to be installed for exposed roof designs. This secondary layer works as a double skin to protect from any drops of water that may penetrate the first layer. Use ITP Powerlon® N55 Primer to adhere the membrane to the base. ITP Powerlon® UV Nail Pads would to seal any nail holes made.
ITP Powerlon UV Roof install:
Vertical battens would be installed with ITP Powerlon® UV Roof on top, vertical battens are then installed for drainage purposes. Use ITP Powerlon® UV Nail Pads to seal. Horizontal battens can then be installed with the decorative wood cladding installed to complete the project.
Space between ITP Powerlon® UV Roof and ITP Powerlon® Eco is needed to let any water drain away.

ITP Powerlon® UV Roof is a high performance, breathable roofing underlay with a superior UV resistance. ITP Powerlon® UV Roof can be used behind partially open, clad roofs. This technically advanced, engineered material is also suitable for use on shallow pitched roofs with a pitch of 5 degrees and over.
