Lime Mortar 0.2 - For Thin Joint Work
Limelite Heritage Lime Mortars are used for most building works or the majority of masonry types in cavity wall construction.
A cement-free blend of natural hydraulic lime and selected aggregates. The mortar is highly workable and combines long term flexibility and breathability with durability. The mortar is available in two aggregate grades, 4 mm grit for standard wider 10mm joints and 2 mm grit for thin joint work, in a range of six colours. Both mortars are available in two strength types M2.5 and M5.0 - also known as HLM2.5 & HLM5.0.
The near zero expansion of NHL binders and the elasticity of pure NHL mortars are such that joint free construction is possible.
