Description

Luxury full-height, flush-fronted washroom cubicles specifically designed to allow rapid external access in an emergency as required by Part M Provision 5.4(e).

System provides unbroken minimalism with innovative features.

Should someone collapse inside, access can be gained within 8 seconds without needing any specialist apparatus.

  • Concealed emergency release mechanism, using indicator face-plate pull chord design.
  • LED occupancy indicator allows users to see which cubicles are in use at a glance.
  • Soft-close doors on fall-to-close pivot hinges.

  • Core material: 30 mm-thick high-grade particleboard (650 kg/m³), supplied in two parts.
  • Edge treatment: All edges lipped in impact-resistant ABS with specialist polyurethane washroom adhesive, for ultimate water-resistance and strength of bonding. This adhesive is environmentally friendly with its zero rating on formaldehyde emissions.

  • Damper: Hidden hydraulic soft close mechanism integrated within hinge.
  • Locking mechanism: Full-height satin anodized aluminium handle which duals as locking strip.
  • Indicator face-plate: Stainless steel face-plate, with LED occupancy indicator light. Includes spring turn and pull chord mechanism allowing the cubicle door to be opened outwards from the outside, in an emergency.
  • Internal fixings: Buffered coat hooks in stainless steel.
  • External fixings: Stainless steel pull handle to outward opening doors.

Guidance for specification option:

  • Division panel to rear wall: Aluminium T-section fixed into pre-grooved division.
  • Division panel to pilaster: Concealed high-strength mechanical fixings.
  • Division panel/pilaster to floor and ceiling: Aluminium powder-coated channel secured to floor. Division panels are pre-grooved and placed over the channel, raising it by 20 mm and preventing contact with mopping water.
  • End pilaster to wall: Fully adjustable aluminium shadow detail.
