Application

Typical uses:

  • High efficiency drainage systems.
  • High void and load-bearing drainage structures with load spread values.
  • Highways, road verges, embankment stabilisation, buried swales, de-watering of road foundations and verges.
  • Railroad foundations, drainage, de-watering and sub-base stabilisation.
  • Hydroponics, sub-irrigation and living facades.
  • Permeable block-paving, subbase load distribution and drainage of foundations.
  • High flow rate fin drain and Frenchdrain systems.
  • Retaining walls, basements, abutments and vertical block walls.
  • Landscaping, parks, amenity, National Parks, walking trails and cycle tracks.
  • Green roofs, roof gardens, solar roofs, blue roofs, podium decks, roof deck car parks and elevated landscapes.
  • Grass stabilisation, load-bearing porous surfaces and ‘green’ car parking.
  • Porous path edgings and kerbs.
  • Sports fields and golf courses (natural and artificial grass).
  • Stabilisation of dykes and levees.
  • Water filtration, treatment and water purification
  • Void infill. High strength water attenuation, water infiltration and soak-aways.

Description

Permeblox is a versatile, robust, high performing rigid drainage board.

Manufactured from 100% recycled materials, the component ingredients have been heat bonded together in a unique patented process to create a drainage board with high flow characteristics on a macro level and storm water retention properties on a micro level.

The board can be installed over a variety of surfaces and overlaid with several construction materials and finishes. It has a high compressive strength, suitable for being used in load bearing areas with the correct design application.

Features and benefits:

  • The product has a high compressive strength suitable for use in load bearing areas with correct design application.
  • High environmental credentials and delivers direct Co2 (carbon negative) savings to all projects in use.
  • Manufactured using 100% post-use (end of life) recycled feedstock.
  • Can be continuously recycled by the manufacturer.
  • Can be trafficked during construction.
  • Can be installed over flat, pitched or vertical surfaces and overlaid with a wide range of construction materials and finishes.
  • Unsupported push through force 8997 N (0.917 tons over 200 mm unsupported span).
