Application

  • Structural bedding mortar for precast concrete installation: As a one-part, pre-blended mortar it is suitable for bedding and structural support of precast concrete wall sections.
  • As a chloride-free bedding mortar, it can be safely used with steel-reinforced concrete.
  • Suitable for use as a bedding mortar for installation of tunnel segments and precast wall sections.

Description

A pre-blended cementitious bedding mortar with a high bond strength and shrink compensating agent to reduce the risk of cracking. Gives excellent structural support.


Structural bedding mortar:

  • Good early strength gain, achieving a compressive strength of 29 N/mm² after one day, 40 N/mm² after seven days and 56 N/mm² after 28 days.


High bond, shrinkage compensated bedding mortar:

  • The high bond, shrink resisting formula of Pozament Cembed allows accurate installation of precast concrete sections with reduced risk of cracking or emergence of gaps.


Thin or thick section bedding mortar:

  • Can be used in gaps between 10 and 75 mm for structural support and down to 5 mm for finishing.


Chloride free bedding mortar:

  • The chloride-free formula means it can be used in contact with steel reinforcement.
