Extruded polystyrene (XPS) thermal insulation designed for very high loadbearing floors such as cold stores and aircraft hangars.
Suitable for load-bearing industrial floors, base slabs or high-load rooftop car parks.
Ravatherm XPS X 700 SL closed-cell polystyrene foam thermal insulation, with its excellent thermal insulation capability, high compressive strength and resistance to moisture, can be safely used in locations where good thermal insulation capability is only one of many complex requirements.

Thickness | 100 mm. |
Face size (length x width) | 1250 x 600 mm.Guidance for specification option: The maximum installation depth of the thermal insulation is determined by the load: the horizontal pressure must not exceed the compressive strength of the boards, taking into account the value of the permanent load. |
Facing | Smooth.Guidance for specification option: Smooth surface skin (extrusion skin). PE film separating and sliding layer between the thermal insulation and the concrete screed for installation on floor applications. |
Edges | Ship lap.Guidance for specification option: A grooved edge allowing boards to overlap, minimizing gaps. |
Compressive creep (design load) maximum 2% deflection after 50 years | 250 kPa. Guidance for specification option: To EN 1606. |
Temperature range: | -50°C to +75°C maximum. Guidance for specification option: Provides the permanent application temperature of Ravatherm XPS X products. At higher temperatures, the boards will start to soften and suffer permanent deformation. |
