Superglass Contract Mat 44 is a non-combustible glass mineral wool insulation roll for use in loft/cold roofs.

Application

Superglass Contract Mat 44 is primarily used as thermal insulation between and over the timber joists of new and existing lofts/cold pitched roofs. However, it can be used in several other applications including between the joists of suspended timber grounds floors.

Description

Superglass Contract Mat 44 is a lightweight, non-combustible glass mineral wool insulation roll. The flexible roll is cut at 2x570mm widths to allow frication fitting between and over common joist spacings, reducing the need for on-site cutting and waste.


Thermal Conductivity:

Declared thermal conductivity (lambda (λ) value) of 0.044W/mK.


Fire Classification:

Deemed non-combustible with a fire classification of Euroclass A1 (the highest possible rating) when tested to BS EN 13501-1 Reaction to Fire.


Vapour Resistivity

The product has a nominal vapour resistivity of 5 MN·s/g·m.

  • Manufactured in accordance with ISO 14001 - Environmental Management Systems (EMS). Certificate number: EMS 646508.
  • Contains no ozone-depleting substances or greenhouse gases. For more information, please refer to the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
  • Made from up to 84% recycled glass.
  • Generic BRE Green Guide Rating of A+.
  • Our products and their pallets are wrapped in low-density polyethylene (LDPE4) plastic, which contains a minimum 30% recycled material and is fully recyclable. Before recycling, please consult your local authority for guidance.
