Attaches trusses and rafters to wall plates to provide wind restraint. Avoids skew nailing damage and provides positive resistance to wind forces.
Features and benefits:
- Truss clips provide an inexpensive and effective method of fixing trussed rafters to wallplates.
- Can also be used for general applications as a multi-purpose connector to provide restraint whenever two timber members cross.
- Produced from galvanized steel to BS EN 10346 + G275 as standard or stainless steel to order.
- Fix using either Type A or Type B fixings in all pre-punched holes:
- Type A, 30 x 3.75 mm Sheradised Square Twist Nails usually supplied loose for manual fixing.
- Type B, 35 x 3.75 mm Sheradised Square Twist Nails usually collated for nail gun fixing.
