Application

Suitable for below ground applications such as backfilled cast-in-place concrete and property line construction such as contiguous/ secant piling and steel sheet piling.

Applications include:

  • Foundation walls.
  • Earth-covered structures.
  • Under slab.

Description

VINTEGRA® P20 membrane is specially designed to resist methane and other gas vapours from entering the building through the concrete foundation slab and walls. Lab studies have demonstrated the performance benefits of coextruded multi-layer ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) barrier films, like that within the VINTEGRA® P20 membrane. Compared to HDPE membranes, EVOH-based barrier films can have a much lower methane gas transmission rate and radon diffusion coefficient.
