Canada Water Plot A1, part of the visionary Canada Water Masterplan designed by Allies & Morrison, represents a transformative step in creating a vibrant new urban quarter in London. Adjacent to Canada Water Tube Station, this development integrates residential, commercial, and community spaces, emphasizing sustainability and modern urban living.

The terraces needed to embody this ambition. They required a decking solution that met strict fire safety regulations, could withstand London’s weather conditions, and seamlessly integrated with the architectural design. With three terraces to install, efficiency and reliability were critical to ensuring the project stayed on schedule.

The Solution: TerraSmart® Aluminium Decking System

To meet the project’s needs, RYNO supplied its innovative TerraSmart® Aluminium Decking System in Anthracite Grey (RAL-7016). This system, installed by Better Living Landscapes, was the ideal choice for Canada Water’s terraces.

  • Adaptable to Complex Builds: Engineered to suit waterproofed balconies, terraces, and roofs, the system’s modular components allowed for seamless integration across varying heights and configurations.
  • Slip and Scratch Resistance: Designed to withstand wear and maintain safety, the boards achieve exceptional scratch resistance and meet BS 7976-2:2002 slip-resistance standards.
