OVERVIEW
Cozia Systems were appointed as the main contractor for the installation of underfloor heating in a 1970s bungalow consisting of a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms. The project featured Resonate's HEATBACKER underfloor heating panels, chosen for their low-profile and lightweight construction, and Kelmore's range of primers, adhesive, and levelling compounds to complete the installation.
Kelmore products were selected for their compatibility with the project’s substrate conditions. The existing bitumen flooring posed challenges for usual adhesives selected for installation, so Cozia Systems used Kelmore Grip primer and tile adhesive to address the issue. The installation was completed using Kelmore’s universal primer and levelling compound, ensuring a smooth, reliable finish for the underfloor heating system. All Resonate boards are complimented by documents that list a process and best practice of laying Kelmore adhesives, primers and levellers.
Cozia Systems used a total of 72.6m² of Resonate and Kelmore products in the retrofit. Ian Reading, Owner of Cozia Systems, praised the collaboration, stating that Resonate’s team was professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with.
