OVERVIEW
The Summerleaze development is a prestigious collection of 25 energy-efficient homes, consisting of 23 three, four, and five-bedroom houses, along with 2 one-bedroom flats, located in the picturesque village of Churchill, Somerset. Developed by Coln Residential Homes, these properties have been meticulously designed to incorporate modern, sustainable technologies. Each home boasts a high-specification finish and is equipped with air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, and solar photovoltaic panels, reflecting a commitment to energy efficiency and comfort.
For this project, Resonate Systems' ResoTherm XPS R 300 underfloor heating boards were selected for their superior performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness. These high-quality underfloor heating boards feature CNC-grooved channels, facilitating easy installation of underfloor heating pipes. With a compressive strength of 300kPa, they are ideally suited for both new build developments, like Summerleaze, and refurbishment projects.
Certus Construction, the contractor for this development, installed 1,700m² of ResoTherm XPS R 300 boards. Ben Hambling, Underfloor Heating Manager at Certus Construction, remarked, "Working with Resonate Systems has been excellent. Deliveries have consistently been on time, which has been crucial to meeting project milestones, and the ResoTherm XPS R 300 boards have performed exceptionally well."
