700m2 of Gustafs Panel System in Natural Oak veneer with PD8 and PH10 perforations were installed to the walls of the central atrium as well as the walls and ceilings of the 150 seat auditorium at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI) Technical Hub at the Genome Campus in Cambridge.
The £17m, 5000sqm building is a collaborative research and training base for up to 225 staff from 85 research companies covering fields including bioinformatics and molecular data as well as pharmaceutical and agricultural studies.
In addition to the acoustic panel system, LSA supplied over 500m2 of 44mm deep linear ribs in Natural Oak veneer were installed to the walls of the central atrium as well as the walls and ceilings of the auditorium.
