Application

Designed for use as a bonded levelling screed on concrete, as a floating screed over thermal or acoustic insulation, or as an unbonded screed on top of a plastic membrane. It is compatible with all types of floor coverings and cementitious adhesives, including fast-track systems, damp-proof membranes and floor levellers.

Description

Cement-based, self-levelling liquid floor screed.

Features and benefits:

  • Thinner sections compared to traditional screeds.
  • Larger floor areas without joints.
  • Exceptional thermal conductivity.
  • Reduced drying times compared to other screeds. Moisture-sensitive floor coverings can be applied when the screed has dried to a moisture content of <2.5% CM.
  • Self-compacting – no voids around underfloor heating pipes.
  • Can be polished for final floor finish; consult manufacturer for details.
  • Can be applied in wet areas.
  • Can be forced-dried after seven days.
  • Lower running costs for underfloor heating systems.
  • No surface laitance (dust) after curing.
  • Compatible with all cement based floor adhesives.
  • No need to use surface primers or sealers before applying adhesives to the screed.
  • Floor flatness: SR2 (minimum).
  • Open to light foot traffic: After 24 hours.
  • In-situ crushing resistance (ISCR) test: CAT A.
