Application

1. As passive fire protection for structural steel in interior and exterior conditions (Up to C4 conditions ISO 12944-2). Suitable for open profile beams and columns, cellular beams and hollow section beams and columns.


2. As a repair and touch up coating for damaged areas of freshly applied Hempafire Pro 315 Fast Dry.

Hempafire Pro 315 Fast Dry

A one component, solvent-borne, intumescent coating, optimized for 60 minutes for protection of structural steel against cellulosic fires. 


Features and benefits:

  • Service temperature: -10°C (14°F) to 50°C (122°F).
  • It is suitable for in-shop and on-site applications.
  • Tested and approved according to EN13381-8 and BS 476-21 for up to 90 minutes fire protection. 
  • CE marked product with European Technical Approval ETA nº 18/0689 according EAD 350405-00-1106.


Application method:

  • Airless spray.
  • Brush.

Tested and approved according to EN 13381-8 and BS 476-21 for up to 90 minutes fire protection. CE marked product with European Technical Approval ETA nº 18/0689 according EAD 350405-00-1106. Approved for up to Type X conditions (all conditions).


Drying time:

Determined for dry film thickness 750 micron (30 mils) at standard conditions. Indicative values at 20ºC; Surface-dry: 5 minutes, Through-dry: 15 Hours.
