Novia 500 Gauge VirginPoly Vapour Control Layer Polythene - Vapour control & air tightness layer

A traditional, single-ply, virgin grade blown polythene Vapour Check and air leakage barrier for use as an internal Air & Vapour Control Check (AVCL). The material meets BS EN 13984 and is CE marked. Novia 500 Gauge VirginPoly provides some moisture vapour resistance and is suitable for use in insulated wall, floor or roof applications where there is a relatively low risk of interstitial condensation occuring. It is a low cost solution which is supplied centre-folded in 2.7m roll widths and is ideal for use in timber frame constructions, including garden rooms/buildings.

Novia 500 Gauge VirginPoly is a transluscent green tinted polythene, with no text or images.

Tape:

• For professional installation, all Novia® VCL products must be fully sealed to the structure using a Novia® double-sided butyl tape and metallised 'BOPP' overlap tape, or Novia foil overlap tape.
• Novia® 30 mm wide butyl tape and 60 mm metallised 'BOPP' tape must be used for all standard VCL installations.
• Novia AirSeal310 FR cartridge sealant should be used with Novia tapes when sealing against concrete surfaces.
