A formulated blend of sodium bentonite and butyl rubber, designed to be used as an active waterstop which reacts with water to seal construction joints within concrete.
Suitable for:
A formulated blend of sodium bentonite and butyl rubber, designed to be used as an active waterstop which reacts with water to seal construction joints within concrete. The seal resists hydrostatic pressure, in excess of 6 bar (60 m), by swelling up tp 270% if needed, stopping the passage of water through the joint.
Due to the sodium bentonite content, on contact with water, TT Waterstop will swell within its confinement, self injecting into localized honeycombing and minor fissures.
