Application

Designed for use as a slurry applied jointing mortar with natural stone, concrete and clay modular paving units in all applications up to 'Traffic Category 9' (BS7533-101 Table 2b).

Description

High-performance jointing mortar for bound (rigid) construction pavements formed in natural stone, clay or concrete paving elements. Formulated for use in modular pavements subjected to pedestrian through to high categories of trafficking. Supplied as a pre-mixed dry product packed in moisture-resistant bags. This optimal viscosity mortar is slurry applied as a self-compacting, smooth-flowing grout.

  • Complies with (or exceeds) the performance requirements of BS 7533-101:2021, Table 12, Type 25 and Type 40 jointing mortars.
  • Optimal viscosity with excellent workability at application, reducing water usage while ensuring high performance characteristics are maintained.
  • Joint widths 3mm and greater
  • Self-compacting characteristics provide tufftop with the ability to penetrate the most irregular cavities and joints down to 3 mm in width.
  • Non-staining, polymer and resin free formula.
  • The elastic modulus is optimized to continually absorb thermal and dynamic stresses inherent during the life of a modular pavement, resulting in high durability.
