Description

THERMIO® MAX is an advanced underfloor heated screed developed by Anhydritec® to meet modern requirements for energy efficiency, fast installation, and effective heat output. It enables quick temperature changes and optimizes energy use, especially with systems like heat pumps.

Nominal thickness above the pipe:

10 mm - bonded screed.
15 mm - floating on insulation.

Minimum thickness by substrate:

20 mm - bonded screed (residential).
25 mm - bonded screed (commercial).
30 mm - floating UFH type A (residential).
35 mm - floating UFH type A (commercial).
30 mm - floating UFH type B.

Maximum moisture content of substrate:

Carbide measurement or oven drying at 40°C. Adhesive manufacturers recommendation should be followed.
Carpets: Suitable from 2% moisture content (MC), excluding bonded carpets.
Tiles: Suitable from 1% MC, to be used with a suitable primer.
Vinyl: Suitable from 1% MC, including a vapour barrier and smoothing compound.
