Description

The UK's only BBA approved stainless steel wire Type 4 housing wall tie.


For securing two leaves of a cavity wall to each other, allowing them to act as one structurally.


The VE4 comes in two styles. The first has a multi-drip in the middle of the tie, while the second has two offset double drips

placed apart. This second style is intended for walls with larger cavities ensuring the drip sits in the clear cavity. The double-drip

style is only available for the 275mm tie. Both designs allow

them to be installed in either orientation.

  • Incorporates a change of shape to discourage moisture moving across the tie.
  • Available with a dedicated clip to secure insulation (usually in sheet form) within the cavity.
