Description
The Janus C4 Single-Blade Controller is an access control system controller for use with Janus C4 host software. The kit is supplied with one OSDP blade fitted.
The OSDP Blade is a plug-in unit that works in the the multi-blade Controller. Each OSDP Blade enables the connection of four OSDP readers and two doors in Janus C4 access control systems.
Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) has been developed to improve security that older systems couldn’t manage. As the only protocol that’s secure and open to communication between readers and controllers, it’s the preferred option for high-security environments.
The single controller alternatively offers the capability to fit either one 2 Door Blade (Part No: JC4-ADV-BL-2D) for connecting up to two doors and two readers or one I/O Blade (Part No: JC4-ADV-BL-IO16) supporting up to eight supervised inputs and eight volt-free relay outputs.
