For air, vapour and water tight sealing of internal and external window and door perimeters and other narrow linear joints. Due to its impervious nature, ME480 is often used in conjunction with (ME010) FR Window Membrane, Class B, W1 at low-level thresholds or similar ground-level details where the is the potential for standing water to gather or areas prone to prolonged wetting without sufficient drying periods.
ME480 BB is a laminated foil and butyl self-adhesive internal and external window and door perimeter sealing membrane for applications where compliance with a minimum reaction to fire of Class B-s3,d0 is required in addition to high levels of air, weather and vapour tightness.
