Preparation

Preparation of existing substrates.

Guidance for specification option:

Substrates must be clean, sound, dry and free of surface laitance with a minimum strength of 25 N/mm². Mechanically prepare substrate to provide a surface texture that will function as a key for the resin. Remove all dust and debris. Repair significant mechanical damage, pitting and cracks.

Acrydur PR02.

Guidance for specification option:

With optional broadcast of 0.4–0.8 mm silica sand at 300 gr/m².

Not required.

Epo-Flex™ VJ.

Guidance for specification option:

The spacing and type of joints should be determined prior to the resin floor system being installed.
